Membership fees

The annual membership fee is set out below. Concession rates apply for concession card holders.

What members receive

• Copies of the Grapevine Program and the Connections Newsletter four times each year
• A reduced rate for LearnShare activities - $4 per session for members, compared with $6 for non-members
• The right to attend and vote at the Annual General Meeting

What LearnShare is

Neighbourhood Houses began in the 1970's with people coming together to share their knowledge and skills with each other at low or no cost in a process we have called LearnShare. LearnShare recognises that throughout our lives whether working with our hands, our head or our heart, we all acquire valuable knowledge and skills. As part of the ongoing process of lifelong learning we can all learn something new or share what we know, through LearnShare.

If you have a special passion or skill or would like to share as a LearnShare Leader we would love to hear from you.

Fees for LearnShare

Activity fees for members are $4.00 per session. For non-members the fee is $6.00 per session. We know that even though our fees are low, if there are a number of activities you'd like to do each week, costs can start adding up. To help reduce the financial squeeze we've introduced a new system: if you do two LearnShare activities in any one week, the third or subsequent LearnShare activity in that same week is FREE.

How to join

Fill in the form below and we will be in touch about your membership. Your membership runs from 1 July to 30 June, and starts once we have your form, your fee, and the Committee of Management has accepted it at a General Committee Meeting.
